Craziest part of all of this is that the love you stamped in so many of our lives, will be a legacy that will never die. No rhyme, reason or trying to wrap my head around any of it, honestly the fact of the matter is that I believe you were a soul that made shit happen, made mother F$%king people aware and not a moment passed without your most organic thought whether we liked it or not. That’s a commendable person and friend. Constructively or unconstructively you would let me know how you felt, as long as the door was opened and we both were ready for the real uncut version of that piece in our lives. The beauty of you Carrie was that you owned yourself and worked hard and owned up to all the good and all the bad laid upon you. You learned,you grew, you taught and the most beautiful part of you is your ability to let go of past to make the future better. Wrapping my thoughts around what could have, should have or possibly would have may have been the most unpredictable…..and same breath, most challenging moments that keep us young.
Your with me in the moments I could let be dark, sad or challenging. Your the woman that truly allowed me to embrace myself, we were like girl scouts that didn’t need a sash.
Your someone I miss daily in a good way, not in a sad way. “What would Carrie have done?” Then my decision making skills gives me a 50-50% chance of success. Just wish I could do random shit with a best friend I felt complete and total safety with.
we had plans and we will meet again, and never remind me of the saddest time this town felt, can’t wait to hold your perfect face again.
